Subsidized home loans in the popular apartment sector

The “Family on Its Own” program provides for subsidized home loans as regards apartments whose price per square meter does not exceed the maximum amount defined for a particular region. The foregoing applies to the so-called popular apartments, offered by such property development companies as J. W. Construction.
J.W. Construction clients will find eligible apartments in the Lewandów Park or Wiślana Aleja projects. At present, over 300 residential units which comply with the requirements of the “Family on its own” program are available in our offer. The amended Act on Subsidized Home Loans, pursuant to which the maximum prices per square meter will be increased, will come into force in January. In Warsaw, where the majority of our development projects are executed, the above price will be at the level of PLN 7,143. Based on the amendment, the number of eligible apartments will increase to approx. 600 – says Agata Wróbel, Sales and Marketing Director in J. W. Construction Holding S.A.
Owing to the subsidies under the “Family on Its Own” program, a client purchasing an apartment of 43 square meters (Lewandów Park) and worth approx. PLN 280,000 may expect savings of about PLN 93,000.
The program provides for subsidized loans during the period of 8 years and the State’s repayment of approx. 50% of interest. Married couples as well as single parents may apply for subsidies under the “Family on Its Own” program. It is not, however, addressed to owners or co-owners of apartments. The maximum price per square meter to apply for a subsidy is PLN 6,632 in Warsaw and PLN 3,889 in the Mazowieckie region. The program is available only once, whereas the area of the State-subsidized residential unit may not exceed 75 square meters.
