Cooperation with reputable architects and innovative solutions in multi-storey residential buildings are to make the housing to be erected by J.W. Construction in the incoming years stand out against the typical residential development in Warsaw.
Although J.W. Construction has its own in-house architects who design the majority of the buildings of that developer, the company also decided to collaborate with two reputable architectural offices in Warsaw – that of Professor Stefan Kuryłowicz (Kuryłowicz & Associates) and JEMS Architekci.
“The cooperation with reputable architects is an element of our strategy. J.W. Construction mostly addresses its current offer to young people for whom the price is paramount in deciding to buy an apartment. However, we are aware that a good location and appearance of the building are equally important. For that reason, we are going to develop our relationship with well-known architects, also considering cooperation with foreign architects”, explains Jerzy Zdrzałka, President of J.W. Construction Holding S.A. Management Board.
Cooperation with Stefan Kuryłowicz, whose designs of residential buildings are rather rare, has already lasted for four years. To date, that office designed three developments of J.W. Construction that will be built in Warsaw during the next three years.
The Quatro Residence in Łukowska Street in Praga Południe is an eight-storey building, the construction of which will be probably completed in the second quarter of 2009. The developer offers there 243 mid-size apartments with the area from 30 to 99 m2 and a multi-level underground car park.
The second project is the Bursztynowe Housing Estate in Korkowa Street. Four-storey buildings make up a small housing estate flanked by single-family houses. That project contemplates the construction of 322 apartments.
The Górczewska Housing Estate, also designed by Kuryłowicz & Associates, will be erected at Wola in the area of Górczewska and Olbrachta Streets. This project will become more attractive soon considering the construction of an underground station planned there.
The Górczewska Park was designed by JEMS Architekci. The investment encompasses a housing and service complex with 1,410 apartments and an underground car park. The central part of the estate will host a space for recreation, located at the garage level and designated for pedestrian traffic only. The construction of that complex is to be completed already in 2007.
